Abercynon RFC would like to say a huge congratulations to Ben Murphy on making his debut in the PRO 14 game today against Ulster for Cardiff Blues.

Ben started his playing career as a youngster at Abercynon mini and Junior section and progressed through the ages before being spotted by the Blues Academy and then applying his trade at Merthyr RFC in the premiership league where he played a big part in helping them become champions.

Ben was then picked to play for the Blues Premiership Select Team and made such an impression that he was asked to join the Cardiff Blues Squad.  Ben's effort, hard work and determination have paid off and today he came off the bench to make his PRO 14 debut against Irish side Ulster.

Everyone at Abercynon RFC is proud of Ben's achievements to date and we are all wishing you well for the bright future you have ahead of you......Good Luck!!
