Six players from Abercynon Rugby Club Under 16s team were selected to play for the regions in the recent WRU's Regional Age Grade Championship and all players enjoyed a successful campaign.
The following players represented their Club for the region:-
Mitchell Savage- Hooker - Blues North
Mitchell Barnard- Second Row- Blues North
Morgan Davies- Second Row- Blues North
Garyn Phillips- Prop- Blues North
Corey Bunney- Prop- Blues North(Played 1 year up)
Kian Monaghan- Winger- Dragons
Three of the players, Morgan Davies, Garyn Phillips and Mitchell Barnard have now been selected to be involved in the Under 16 Easter Tournament, where the blues North and South have picked a combined team and will play their regional counterparts over the Easter holidays.
