Congratulations go out to our Under 16s Player Garyn Phillips who has been selected to play for Wales Schools Under 16s at Albion RFC, Bridgewater on Sunday @ 2pm KO.
Garyn who has played for our mini section from the age of six, played the majority of his rugby as a ball carrying number 8/back rower but this season has changed position to the front row. Garyn, has trained hard over the past months whilst in the Blues Under 16s team and is now seeing the benefits, in achieving the highest honour in representing his country at age grade rugby.
Proud parents Ray and Sarah are thrilled with the news and are both excited for Sunday. Garyn will not be short of support as he will have a great following from all at Abercynon RFC, a coach load of Abercynon supporters are heading to Somerset to cheer Garyn on against our English counterparts.
