Following his long illness, Robert Lock’s passing has saddened everyone here at the Abercynon Club. Robert had a 40-year plus association with Abercynon RFC during which period he played over 300 games to earn his Club cap. A staunch clubman he also served time as team captain, coach and team manager. In his playing pomp Robert was a strong- running, athletic back row forward who always gave one hundred percent commitment to the cause.
Abercynon RFC wish to convey sincere condolences to Robert’s wife Angela, daughters Cerys and Karen, and grandchildren Angel, Lewys and Charlie.
