Whether you are a former player, family of a junior or senior player or simply an enthusiastic follower we urge you to become a Vice President and better still get someone to sign up with you. The mix of ages, often three generations from one family, to play, watch and socialise around rugby is one of the elements that makes the sport great and for this to continue we need to spread the membership net as widely as possible. Vice Presidents are vital to the continued success of Abercynon Rugby Club for a number of reasons.
Firstly, we believe Abercynon Rugby Club is a great organisation and in becoming a Vice President you will help maintain the history of the club and enable the clubs success for future generations.
Secondly, despite being an amateur club running costs rise year on year and whilst every penny of profit goes back into the running of the club, greater financial resources are required to maintain and develop both the playing side and facilities. Vice Presidents funds make up a significant contribution but more VP members will help further.
Apart from knowing that you are helping the club that has, and possibly still is, giving enjoyment to you and those close to you, there are other benefits to you as a person.
The intention of the Vice Presidents club, is to organise three events over the calendar year, this will include free lunch/buffet provided for all Vice Presidents, for one home and one away league games (Game selection TBC). Also a Summer Hog Roast, that will include an invite for you plus a guest.

Membership fees are £120 per year or £10 direct debit per calendar month
